Worst Day Of The Year Ride

Riding Group Meeting

There will be a riding group meeting at Long Beach Coffee Roasters on January 7th, at noon. I thought we could start off with a short ride up the Discovery Trail and back (rain, wind or shine), then have a quick meeting and a good hot cuppa. I'm still kicking around ideas for a name, and so far really like "Bayside Bangers Bicycle Club". Hope to see you all there.

First Entry

This is my first real attempt at hosting a blog, so please bear with me. I started keeping a journal of my rides several months ago, and I guess this is the natural progression of that. My goal is to see this thing blossom into something fun and interesting for me and others who love to ride as much as I do, and to provide a forum for people on the coast to share their thoughts, routes, rides and expertese. I know there are a lot of us around here, but I don't know of any formal network or clubs in the area, so hopefully this can get us off to a good start! Take care.
